The first ad is for
belvidere vodka. It is degrading to women in a couple o f ways. Its insinuating to the audience that if you have a woman drink this vodka, something such as oral sex may occur.
The second ad is showing a man spanking his wife in a add for a certain coffee. It's related to a woman having an affair, and the many spanking her and punishing her for it. It's showing a mans dominance and somewhat of domestic violence, all over a coffee brand.
Both of these ads are just awful. Neither one of them send out any kind of message that I would want to take from it. They are both so demeaning and wrong I honestly don't see how anyone was interested in either of these products. The coffee advertisement is ridiculous--what does that even mean? It means nothing, except that men are dominant and will somehow always have the ball in their court. These are not true or the way things should be. I have no idea how either one of these ad's made it anywhere.
ReplyDeleteThese ads are degrading to the women not only in this ad, but to women as a whole. I think that the second ad is trying to refer women as children and that spankings "abuse" is ok, if it's to keep the women in line. These should be taken off the web and images like this should not be aloud. I find these images upsetting and just plain stupid.
